Hi all,

Anyone has got any idea which fuse corresponds to the Toyota Axio ciggy power source?

Need to do a DIY on a blown fuse but do not understand the Japanese manual.

Thanks.

Sorry I dont drive Axio.

But if I can help, this set of fuse should be in the cabin. Not in the engine compartment.

Toyots have fuse blocks for either at driver or front passenger side kick panels, 10 or 15A.

If it was blown, you should see the open circuit in the form of broken wire.

Try to locate CIG.

It should be stated on the back cover of the fuze box.............

Agree. Just gotta find the fuse box in engine bay or internal, see the schematic on accessories/ciggy power and replace the fuse.

Should be quite straightforward.

Hi bro,

Found it.

Located at front passenger seat under the panel.

The 10A fuse was found blown.

Alarming part was that the plastic covering the fuse box rated the CIG fuse to be 15A.

Not sure why someone placed a 10A one in my ride instead.

Anyway tks for your help.

what cause the fuse to blow?

The in-car DOD F500HD camera USB adapter.

After tearing everything apart and costing me another 10A fuse, I managed to nail the s*cker.

I unscrewed the tip and opened it up to see that the wire soldering detached from the central pin.

This was why the two fuses got blown.

I brought it home to have it soldered it and now everything works fine now.

If you have these type of illuminating fuses in yr ride fuse box , you will only need few seconds to identify which fuse has fail.

Interesting.

I take it that the blown fuse will not illuminate?

Where is it sold?
