Yes, I think Levo is good.

I am a Esso customer as I hold citi credit card. More discount.

I heard about the good review on Levo and I tried yesterday when my tank is low.

I would say it give me faster response to my feet compare to Esso.

Maybe it is placebo effect. They are all the same.

i have tried spc levo 95 on sat. till now travelled around 80+/- km.

had been using caltex for the past 2 yrs. prior to that esso for 2 yrs then shell for abt a yr..

had tried spc once many moons ago. rough, bad fc underpowered.

then this levo came out everyone tell me gud ah... but wad entices me more is it 18%, 5% more than wad caltex ocbc is giving.

first acceleration is that the power is there. smoothness is ok. vs. caltex its lacking a little. power seems better than caltex. maybe the ecu is still adjusting to the petrol. i will monitor a few more tanks. if the fc is ok. i will do the switch.

good bye caltex. every time first to increase price. see liao also dulan.

Another +1 score for LEVO.

Recalling the Esso advertisement on television, it really seems this companies take customers for granted... unless when there are competition then they buck up.

Esso Synergy already launched for so long, when LEVO came out... start putting up advertisement. <_<

pumped Levo to try, as only pumped SPC once and i find my car boh lat ...

but then, i pumped spc 98 levo full tank ... initial assessment is that car is smoother., .... way smoother than shell 98 and esso... when rev harder, the engine does not sound that gruff .... (driving wish btw) ...

As for FC, cannot confirm yet.

As for power, i find it gives me less power than shell98 and esso 98 equivalent. Tho engine is smoother but i still find the power is lacking just a little bit.

Then again, i can live with the slight "loss" in power for a smoother ride ... now just need to test 3 more tanks ... [laugh]

My field report

After reading the much hyper about new SPC

Decided to give SPC 98 a try after 6 yrs of Caltex 98 / Esso 98

Now on my 2nd full tank

Fuel comsumption never my concern

What matter most is engine dont ping exceeded 6k / rpm

My ride was tuned with Caltex 98

And all this while i tried Shell Fuel Save 98 engine ping exceeding 6k rpm

Same goes to Esso and old SPC

I'm not into Vpower as its too ex and offer me super bad FC

Only last night about 4am on a clear carless highway

Dropped 3 gears dragged to 8k rpm

4 gears dragged 7k rpm

Short burst of thrill

This fuel does make my day

No pinging and surprisingly quite ok

So as of now i'll stick to SPC

frankly i thk the new (??) esso seem to worsen my fc. been on it the past 3 yrs, the fc drop is quite visible.

just sharing my thoughts....

if there was any 'real' or 'substainial' differences in any of the 'power' of the fuels in SG... i dont see how a certain brand of fuel can survive here...

i used to be a die hard fan of Caltex... back then when they had 100 octane... my bike shop told me caltex best so i stayed with caltex until i drove... then started using esso and stuck with them due to my loyalty points...

i believe the drivers in SG who highly tune their daily drive cars and who swear by a certain brand of fuel, probably make up like 10% or less of the whole vehicle population in SG...

so at the end of the day, pump which ever pump in SG also same... so long the octane rating is accurate... a smooth ride has sooooo many contributing factors... tyre air pressure, car load, air-con on/off, engine oil tempreture... and to add when ever i drive out of a petrol station after a fill up, like after i release air pressure in the fuel tank when i removed my filler cap, then after fill up the ride simply feels better and smoother when i drive out of the station... maybe due to fuel pump not working so hard with less pressure....

So it seems that release the built up vacuum in the fuel tank can make the fuel pump less stressful?

I think Levo is good for my Jazz....I am a convert.

I do agree that most fuel with correct Ron, by right should be the same.

But somehow....some cars just react a little different to different fuel.

I feel good with Levo.

I also feel the car seems smoother after pumping what ever fuel, the release of vacuum could be a factor.

I have done butt test on the levo vs techron.....92ron.....my butt feel that levo is smoother for my Jazz.

Mileage is about the same....but the smooth feeling is like pumping V-power buttery smooth kind of feeling.

I have done a few test, pumping few times per week, with $15 petrol each time...and drive till the fuel tank empty light shows and then go for another 20++km to get as little fuel remaining in the tank as possible.

There is some butt feel difference using Levo.
