Sosaria Twincharged July 1, 2011 Share July 1, 2011 Seek opinion from all the "family man" out there Took leave to bring my kids out due to school holiday next Monday (Youth Day). But then thinking that it could rain heavily these days, IF it rains, where is a nice, interesting place to bring the kids that's weather-proof?? This is Plan B in case of bad weather. Thanks. ↡ Advertisement

Karu 6th Gear July 1, 2011 Share July 1, 2011 Changi Airport, it has lots of space. Unlike typical malls. National Museum is another good place to bring kids. If they're old enough.

Deathstalker 2nd Gear July 1, 2011 Share July 1, 2011 Snow City. Since it's next to Science Centre & IMAX, you can bring your kids there after hitting Snow City.
Sosaria Twincharged July 1, 2011 Author Share July 1, 2011 (edited) Hey, thanks for the Science Centre suggestion. Slipped my mind. Snow City is back in operation? Didn't know that. Changi Airport can do what? I thought many of the attractions are in the controlled area. No access. My kids don't like museum visit. By the way, fire stations are actually open for public visit on saturdays, 9-11am - in case some of you would like to bring your kids. Don't know about u, but changi airport is a nice place to chill out. Have a meal, coffee & lots of space for my 2 boys to wander, all in air-con comfort. Just don't go to the basement foodcourt section of T3, it's too crowded & looks like a shopping mall on weekends. Yup, I've been to the central fire station. It's got a small museum as with old fire engines. Don't think you have that in other stations.
Sosaria Twincharged July 1, 2011 Author Share July 1, 2011 Bro...which Fire stations are open? do u mean all? How about the one opp to Funan centre? The one at Hill Street? Apparently, yes. If you're visiting with just your family members, less than 10 people, it's walk-in, no need pre-register. Sosaria Twincharged July 1, 2011 Author Share July 1, 2011 Sentosa iFly Heh heh... sure to be very expensive. In fact, if good weather, I plan to bring kids to Sentosa, play on the beach, build sand castles - which is top on their list. Never really to go on the rides. Just that, in case of wet weather... ↡ Advertisement
