I have been to Old Trafford & Anfield, & Emirates for that matter, when I was living in U.K. hehe. [:p] I even posted pictures on the web, but too bad, can't link them now as photobucket is ban in my office.

But I never been to the match, just stadium tour.

for a match like that, your best bet would be the 3rd party sites such as viagogo, top ticket shop, ticketmaster. these sites are somewhat verified by the club and i hv personally bought match tickets from there. of cos the tickets are usu 3-5 times more than face value but for man u-chelsea, i dun know if u may even get it.

the club does offer a facility for season ticket holders who cant attend the match to sell their ticket for the day on their website. however based on my experience, these are usu single seaters and queue list is long even for wigan matches, not to mention chelsea.

just a note if the prices for normal tickets tat u see on the 3rd party sites are breaching 300pounds, i suggest u get the hospitality packages from the club directly, where u get premium seats n even food n champagne.

stay in manchester city centre n OT can be easily accessed thru their train system. along the way to the stadium, u can even pick up merchandise from the stalls ala pasar malam stalls. try not to drive, u wil take hours to leave the ground after the match.

go early, soak the atmosphere and sing giggsy n ronaldo songs at sir matt busby way. visit the mega store, they sometimes clear last season jerseys at unreal prices. lastly, stationed yourself 1 hr before kickoff at the side gate when the players alight from the team bus. this should b the closest you wil ever get to them.

enjoy man u fan! [;)]
