Gosh! It's the bend towards Changi! I thought it was the bend towards city!

I saw it on ECP this evening. Bits of the car were still at the divider.

both bends equally bad. lol

bloody hell. doing 140km/h at that bend!! even you are a good driver, you may scare the s--t out of other drivers causing them to take evasive action. want to try taking corners at high speed, go to somewhere remote at the very least.

i have done 170++ around that bend b4, no problem

its the driver not the car or the bend that matters

actually, in terms of speeding, our TPs already give many chances.

which country gives u a 10km/h allowance over the speed limit.

speeding may be ok if u dont get others involved.

and those who want to know the audi's number, its

7413

Which country don't?

before casino, cannot buy the white audi a3 convertible and the black slk.. could be total lost for the audi

sad when you see them crash [bigcry]

Maybe the A3 and SLK were racing on the wet.

A3 (FWD) understeered and slided ... and/or SLK (RWD) oversteered and spun, or both, at the S-bend. [laugh]

You see a lot of these women drivers (yes, some of my colleagues who drive fast cars too) do not know that no matter how fast their cars are, the limit is still dependent on their braking power and tyre grip. Physics is just outta their vocab.

You can be fined if you exceed the speed limit by 5km/h in Australia. But their speed limit is incredibly aggressive, bends, uphill/downhill, blind spot can still be 100 km/h. Almost nobody speeds in Melbourne... nobody road hogs either...everywhere is like KPE in Singapore....everybody travelling at about the same speed.

bro..may i suggest u do a real-time trip recording as to the exact time taken for every journey..see if the timing is close regardless of the speed u're travelling..imo most of the time real-time traffic situations do not allow for linear speed

Real life situation cannot be so perfect and linear speed is impossible. I just practiced my sec sch maths topic on speed, distance and time. However in real life, it si true that this numbers remained the same. If there are many cars on the road, we wouldn't even need to worry about speeding as there are no space to speed. The trap only comes dark at night :) However, if there are no cars on ecp aye, it is very hard to stay focus and keep speed below 110km. Once you think its ok to hit 150km for a while, that is when you suddenly see a brick, a rock, or burst tyres on the road, and its too late to respond....then bang....

Audi convertible.... hmm,... A3 convertible? A4 convertible? .... anyway, quattro or not, both A3 and A4 should have ESP and traction control built in.

SLK should have ESP built in as well,... and ALL Merc's ESP cannot be switched off totally. Even AMGs.

Therefore, both cars cannot be skidded.... as ESP will kick in. More likely both cars hit the bump at high speed and went airborned and lost control.

That S curve at ECP is not uncontrollable and difficult to drive. 5 lanes to swerve around... it's actually nice to drive around there,... something else must have happened.... that area,... err.... haunted or not?

Unattentive Driver + Female + Fast Car = Whole lot of sh!t.

Neutral Newbie

You know what, they should move the speed camera at the KPE exit for ECP to that S-curve area...
