Do you have any for older BMWs? Thanks!
Kazuo Neutral Newbie March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 "it is useful when your hands are full with groceries bags etc" I feel that this is just marketing gimmick. Yes, the door will auto unlock, but so what? The door won't auto open for you to put your hands-full of stuff into the car or boot. So either you come out with the weirdest position or stun to open the door (with your tiny pinkie which you can spare) without hitting or scratching your car, or you place the items down from one hand and open the door (or take out your remote). It is nice to have, but the statement on top doesn't justify the advantage of the product over normal remote.

Ptc77 Neutral Newbie May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 Am driving latio. come with stock keyless.. Laiwh 1st Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 (edited) my FD's stock alarm got no sound when i lock or unlock the car. not that i like the alarm sound, but it is useful to locate my car in big carparks sometimes. Also, i miss the remote engine start function in my old car -- not a must have but it's a flashy function, and good for occasions where parking attendant was just about to book me for my expired coupons while i'm still quite a distance from walking back to the car :P Understand that to have remote engine start, immobilizer has to be bypassed or disabled. But is it possible to have these 2 functions while retaining the functionality of my immobilizer? Edited May 11, 2012 by Laiwh

Doesn't make sense also cuz, if you are near enough to the car then what for you need remote start?

Good day Yes only one way out , is to get a programmable bypass kit installed . that kit will cost you $150 SGD . you will get to have best of both world . another cheaper alternative is to use the BOX kind , but a chip must be placed inside . this option is $70 . One last way out is to just remove the chip and stick on the transponder , which means you temporary lose the immobilizer function , that option is FREE and come with any purchase of alarm system . cheers Edited May 13, 2012 by ZMC ↡ Advertisement
