Deckbuild 6th Gear July 23, 2014 Share July 23, 2014 mine about the same as yours. agreed the tyre sound is louder. Gonna try V551 for my next set of tires. Overall if want a long life, this tires the way to go. Another issue with this tyres are it's too soft on the side wall, when one of the wheel are on metal while turning, the whole car will feel as though that tyre sliding outwards. alex976 5th Gear July 23, 2014 Share July 23, 2014 Tyres may have harden already.. Ya i agree. the tire shop owner told me that should always try to buy fresh tires meaning July 2014 should try to buy tires manufactured early 2014. Cos the tyres above 2 years old are very prone to hardening. Thats y most tires on super special offer are those manufactured 2 years before.

Mason016 Supersonic August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 (edited) Tyres are what keep you and your car planted on the road. Spend wisely, do not be penny wise and end up decorating the PIE / ECP guard rail. Edited August 29, 2014 by Mason016
Kb27 Supersonic August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 My first time using XM2, it's expensive, compared to other brands. Not sure, if it's worth the extra $20, but for now, the grip is good, quiet as the tyres are new. Hopefully, it can last 60k like others mentioned. So far, all the other tyres I've used, less than 40k already poor grip or almost bald.

Jamesc Hypersonic August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 I've been using xm2 for 2 years now. Quite ok with it but looking for cheaper alternatives. Any recommendation? I did that. I changed from XM1 to ContiComfortContact 5 and regretted it. Should have just spent a bit more and get the XM2. How much do you want to save? $20 a tyre and sacrifice quality?

Hangyong Clutched November 3, 2014 Share November 3, 2014 just got mine last Saturday in Bukit Indah Johor. 205/65 R15 + Balancing and Alignment RM290 each + RM5 per valve Asked a few shops around, and was offered RM310 and RM340 from other shops around the area. Waited for an hour for the boss to go get the tyres. Took an hour to change and balance, and another 30 mins to align. 3914 manufactured. Happy like a bird. Previously on XM1, the thread in Front at gone, but the 2 at the rear still good. Changed all 4 though... Quite, and the steering is much lighter. Rolls much further when lifted foot from accelerator. ↡ Advertisement
