Hypersonic

My XM1 had very low wear rates but after 5 years from DOM,

I thot safer to change.

Then I read the reason XM1 has such a low rate of wear is bcos

they add silica compound to the rubber for longer life and

lower resistance. Take your foot off your accelerator and the

car keeps rolling. Good for fuel consumption.

Yes, XM1 very lasting.

Mine DOM 2910. On my wheel for 3.5 years (60k mileage) and the flower is still deep.

But road noise is high and can feel the grip not so good.

Then kena nail last week.

Just changed.

Spoken to an installer when I changed my tyres. XM1 & 2 are very long lasting. It is quiet when new, but once the outer layer wears off, the road noise will increase quite fair bit. I have been on XM 1 / XM 2 for the last 6 years and the fuel consumption have been consistent but I cannot comment if it's more economical then other tyres.

Road grip when dry is excellent. When wet, I always take it easy since my tyres are always over-inflated.
