The boss told me Michelin PS3 is better than XM2.

The difference is only RM$10.00 per piece.

Any comments on the PS3.

Well, I just had a set of 4 replaced with my ride with hi speed-off wheel balancing / wheel alignment in North.

Handling wise, much responsive than mine previous XM1 (3 sets changed in the past years) when dry.

Wet wise, have not test it out.

Noise wise, off course is damn quiet when new.

Nonetheless, allows me further monitor b4 finalize the conclusion.

Will be going long drive in the North on coming days. [rolleyes]

If the balancing is done this way, then this is high-speed balancing.

Hi Brother,

Just to share more information.

Attached is another later type of High speed balancing machine which I used to pay at my usual WS.

It won't create tires wear on its side compared with the usual machines.

The rotation stone contacts the tires surfaces which duplicate actual road conditions.

A friend of mine test 180km/h on certain part of NS HW from KL to Johor on his Gen 2.

He claimed steering wheel is stable.

Where esle, me tried 150 km/h on my Tom Yam ride in the North.

Same as per above, steering wheel is very quiet.. non vibrates as well.

Hi All, I am new here. After reading through the threads, I decided to change my tyres to XM2. Was quoted RM1200 by Hawk Tayar in JB Southern City (recommended by another bro in thread #124). With other plus plus and discount, it will be RM1210 NETT. Went to another shop near Taman Sentosa market (opp the Bak Kwa store) and was quoted RM1200 NETT (after all plus plus and discount). I reckon the market price is around this range now, please share if you have gotten a better quotes recently. Will be changing the tyres next week [laugh]

Just to follow up, these tyres are quiet on cement road. The noisiest drive I ever encounter with this tires are when driving along AYE which is in extremely poor condition, so rough...

We pay so much road tax and COE and still get worst road than Msia...
