Gold class nothing special lah..just better seats, lesser ppl BUT more distractions due to the waiters/waitress moving abt, taking orders, sending orders...not worth it..

Personally, I feel that for the price you are paying...definitely not worth it. -_-

Does the gold class tix come with a free meal?

Nope but those with gfs can enjoy a bit of 'hug hug' private moments without some kaypohs staring at you. [:p]

you are just sitting there for 2 hrs max to watch a movie....why would u need such a fancy seat with blanket and some waitress to serve u some food??

If you want private time with yr gf....pls go to hotel 81....even got bed and blanket...comes with a free bottle of mineral water as well

You are paying a few hundred % more than the ticket price. is it worth it? you tell me

Yep but if not wrong GV Gold Class got a bigger screen compare to the normal cinema but i prefer cathay cos the seat bigger than normal and also space bigger and the popcorn also taste better and if not wrong cheaper too

ahhh....i like cathay's sweet popcorns compared to GV's. But if in terms of space, still prefer GV Max.

Surely they wash the blankets

for me i cannot be sure..so to be on the safe side..better not..even those 3D glasses are smudged with dirt and fingerprints..so i dun really trust the hygiene level..but thats just me [:p]

my fren working in theatre as mgr told me they do wash the 3d glasses each time just that they dont have a person to wipe the glasses clean so we get lots of oil stained smudges (probably due to popcorn fingers) that cant be removed with water n soap.

gold class come with food & drink, and a piece of blanket :D

You pay for the food & drinks.

There is a lounge to visit before the movie starts. Potato wedges and tom yum soup are always nice. The number of people in the cinema is lesser so you get a different ambience.

Why Gold Class over normal tickets? Probably similar to why bottled water over tap water? Why First Class over Economy?

It would be better to catch movies with longer running times at Gold Class.
