Many driving against traffic flow between carparks

 

I HAVE on numerous occasions witnessed motorists driving against the traffic flow to get into either the Wheelock Place carpark, or the Far East Shopping Centre carpark when they fail to find a spot at the open-air carpark directly opposite Borders bookstore at Wheelock Place.

 

Last week, during the heavy downpour during lunch time, a woman driver drove against the traffic to cut the waiting queue to the Far East Shopping Centre carpark. Pedestrians crossing the narrow road, and walking across the Wheelock Place carpark (rightly) would not expect cars coming from a direction that is clearly against the traffic flow.
