Shor 1st Gear June 4, 2011 Share June 4, 2011 Wanna know bro/sis can provide the info. What is the furthest distance your drove in one leg ( ONLY driver ), for petrol refilling , toilet and meal break, that's it. Napping no count. The total km continuously and the total time taken. ↡ Advertisement

Shor 1st Gear June 4, 2011 Author Share June 4, 2011 Ya, I think 1000km is somehow tiring, but the distance cover in 1 leg is considered long!!! Kudos to you bro! About 1,000km. Portland, OR to Elk Grove, CA. 2 kids in the car.
Acieed 1st Gear June 4, 2011 Share June 4, 2011 The aim was to reach Southern CA in 2 days with the kids. 2nd day drive another 1000km. I know some folks w/o kids drive all the way. Voodooman Supersonic June 4, 2011 Share June 4, 2011 I have covered Singapore to Kuala Terengganu in 1 day, can't remember the distance but it took us around 8 hours. The most siong drive was from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, South Rim, and back on the same day, about 900 km, straight road all the way and this made it extremely painful although the scenery at Grand Canyon was quite unforgettable. Driving on Malaysian trunk roads is far more interesting than NSHW, less sleep inducing and it offers the occasional adrenaline rush when high speed overtaking is required. What is the furthest distance your drove in one leg ( ONLY driver ), for petrol refilling , toilet and meal break, that's it. Napping no count. The total km continuously and the total time taken. 10 to 12 hours should be ok. Night driving even better. NS highway. Keep you alert. Like looking at computer screen. Playing need for speed. Done that too - the drive to Terengganu...the killer was that super straight trunk road to reach the coastal highway - as boring to drive as watching the paint dry... Acieed 1st Gear June 5, 2011 Share June 5, 2011 (edited) Not quote super highway. Particularly CA highways close to OR borders are not really so great, and varying 50-80mph speed limits with a lot of cops on the road and in the sky + already kenna US$190 ticket and no traffic school exemption allowed just before the trip sibei sian. Though people generally don't drive dangerously. Real super highway is Autobahn worshipped by motorists all over the world, no speed limits. :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Autobahnen No speed limit from here on road sign: 1000km for a super Highway is quite alright I assumed.
