Neutral Newbie

Hello bros, I'm looking to change car due to the high mileague (70K) and the fact that it is 2.6 years old. Ok I know that is a bad excuse [:p]

Anyway now if sell off my car should be ard $50K, minus the loan and depreciation should get back around $20K.

Looking at budget $80-$90K car at max, at least late 08 model (same as my car's age).

Deciding between few options: as they seemed to be quite bang for bucks, ie. depreciate the most. Am I the only one facing this problem, or do I have company? The list seemed to grow longer by the day! :D

I would rather use the so called money saved, which in actual fact there is no money saved to change old to old car, to do something else.

Let's say the is the transfer fees and insurance fees and agent fees of $1000 to change a similar car.

This $1000 can be used to get a chicken to scratch my backside as and when it gets itchy!

Assume $30 for a simple massage cum scratch.....the $1000 can last at least one year of itchy backside satisfaction!!!!

Sigh.. got money might as well save for investment or retirement..

I, on the contrary, thinking about selling my 5 year old car (ard $35K) and take public transport..

May be I mid-life crisis [lipsrsealed]

The additional cost is holding me back, although it's comfortable for me now. Am I the only itchy backside here??? [:/]

Having a car is to drive. I have friends own a car, but don't bear to drive, take public transport, save petrol, save this save that, so what's the point having a car?

So low?! You seldom drive?
