if i don't remember wrongly go to your control panel/devices and printers/ to look for fax. double click it and there will be instructions given

 

set up is as simple as keying in the numbers and then some parameters like number of rings before connecting.

 

then you can do the receving.

 

as for sending, you need to scan the document first, use the win fax program upload and indicate fax number to send. but all this while you need a phone line

now a simple 4 in 1.. or even better still 5 in 1 printer.. which could print, scan, fax, copy.. to wireless.. and also PC-fax and it cost few hundreds bucks.. and it should suit your needs.
