You have a problem with selective reading again? She has listed that she was employed at the time of elections. That was less than 1 MONTH ago. If she had ALREADY tendered her resignation before the elections and yet listed employed... then, that would have been lying to the public, would it not? And also lying to the elections board.. which is a criminal offence. When u are serving notice u are still an employee because u are still receiving salary at that time. When u are clearing leave, you are also still an employee as that leave as you are also receiving salary for those days (i.e. paid leave). If anything happen, can still be called back. When u are clearing leave, you are also still an employee as that leave as you are also receiving salary for those days (i.e. paid leave). If anything happen, can still be called back. Especially executive positions need to handover properly... What is so difficult? Just pay the company your salary for the notice period and you get immediate release.
