Lappy cant connect

its the norm for lappy to connect to the internet once its boot up.

 

But some how mine cant hook on automatically now. [:(]

 

Please help to trouble shoot ......... [grin]

most common issue is, u got on the wireless a not?

 

Sometime i also accidentally switched it off, as the switch is on the side :D

think you are on wireless. you have accidentally switch from auto connect to manual connect. you are on W7 or XP? PM me.

Check for a physical switch which may have the icon of an 'comm tower'. It might have been switched off.

 

Mine had the same problem when it was returned from servicing as the tech switched it off.

 

I'm using DELL btw, not sure if it's the same for other brands. Hope it helps.

look high and low no find switch leh [:(]

check the front........see if you see any orange or red light................if wireless on sld have a blue light..........

 

sometime is the modem issue............try switch off and on the modem again.............it happens to me sometimes..........

modem should be ok as other lappy can connect :o

 

now....how to turn that wireless thingy back on..... :wacko:

Usually there's a switch by the side of the lappy, if not look at the F10-F12 buttons, look out for the 'comm tower' icon.

either push or slice sideway.............try and see

i just mistaken bluetooth icon for comm tower.

 

went into control panel and discovered that

 

"Wireless is not currently enabled"

as i am now typing with my lappy with the wireless turn back on.

 

How??

 

I was using a after market power adaptor(AC/DC) then, went back my room and use back the original acer, and everything is back to normal again.

 

Any logic in this......??? :blink:

to dispel the myth, i went back again and plug in the after market power adaptor, no problem as i am typing now and sending this post <_<

Sometimes, your aftermarket power adaptor not enough power.

Or cannot provide enough current. Maybe that's what cause the wireless to shut down earlier.

Wireless sap a lot of power.
