any bros going?

tips: drivers must go very early to "chop" parking space.

expect to see the place flooded with FT/FW and their families.

I hope they will be inspired to become citizen and serve NS.

Can drive in? Where to park?

Last time I went - there is a carpark right at the end can park - but must go very early to secure a place.

The airshows are at 11am and 1 more in the afternoon.

But if go too early also problem - as have to queue up outside the gate and wait for opening time.

If the weather very hot - drink plenty of water - very little shade there, and drinks are very expensive.

I going also.....my advice is to not drive but take MRT to Eunos MRT station or Hougang Mrt then take the free bus, drop off just outside Paya Lebar Airbase, also don't bring too much stuff as there will be bag check conducted on all people entering the airbase...

just follow the marshaler when you r there, go early should have plenty of parking space, but must walk quite a distance...Saturday morning will be ideal.

bring lot's of water,shades, umbrella & sunblock.

Probably, you can use your influence to block dates for citizens only

If u want to go, try not to go with friends who have served or are serving in the Air Force.

Last time i went to Navy open house with some navy friends, ended up most of the attractions they say "aiya, tat one no need to go la, go in only see the <whatever>".... cos they have served the navy and seen those things before... so they are not interested to queue up to go see, eg, go on board the ships. They will spoil your mood.

there are opportunities for joyrides as well. Chinook, etc. And the girls go hoping to tackle some flyboy top guns. It looks good on their resume : "Boyfriend: Fighter Pilot"
