Beware of vehicles with 1 or no(zero) working brake lights

i think sg law doesnt require cars to have 3rd brake light....it's a nice safety feature tat many newer cars have, but i think as long as the 2 regular brake lights r functioning, no law is broken....anyone can confirm this?

just yesterday saw a cab with fault brake lights.

called the cab company and told them to inform the driver.

i guess the word "creep" mean auto moving forward without stepping the accelator when shift to gear "D"

Hi all,

 

I starting this thread to let other drivers know and be aware of other vehicles spotted on the road with either only 1 or no(zero) brake light working.

 

These vehicle can easily cause accident to the driver behind.

 

 

I spotted a silver taxi, SHD1310H, on sunday morning.

 

It had no working brake lights at all. I followed it 2 junctions and videoed it.

most of the drivers doesn't know their brake light or tail light not working

 

i have personally inform some drivers when i met them at traffic light junction if we both are driving on the same route

 

100% confirm all of them were taken a back when they know it

i ever once encountered a toyota premio both brake lights not working only 3rd brake light nia. Somemore peak hour jam. Stressed sia

1 good way to check brake lights is in dark MSCP. When engaging gear to go fr P to D (for auto gear cars), the foot is on the brake pedal, and in the dark condition of MSCP, juz looking at rear view or side view mirror, can see the reddish brake lights.

There are alot of things that we will never understand. Best part is not everyone thinks like u. Some people drive without headlight on at night!
