bro...if you travel to Malaysia and often use the NSH (North-South highway), this 'touch n go' card will allow you to go through the NSH toll station freely without 'Q' up to collect the tickets and making payment.

 

When you reach certain toll station, just flash the card at the device, then the barrer will automatic open, this will cut time the waiting time at the toll station for payment or collecting the tickets.

 

but of course remember to top-up sufficient amount in the card.

I bought at the causeway toll where u pay RM2.60. Just tell the cashier u wanna buy the TnG. RM 10 for the card, RM40 credit in the card- Total -RM50.

yup, now selling at jb side customs (from woodlands) at the RM 2.60 toll booth.

Touch N Go Reload Facilities

 

The Touch N Go system works on reloadable contactless smart card technology and can be reloaded at any Customer Service Center at the toll plazas or hassle free through our dedicated reload lanes. The reload lanes are located at selected toll plaza. (lanes marked as "tampah nilai" means topping up can be done. lanes marked as "sahaja", means for touch and go only, no top up)

Reloading in SG is possible if you hold a Maybank ATM.

 

Reloading is like using our cashcard top up....just that for the TNG card, you just need to place the card on the atm machine.

 

In M'sia, you can reload after the first toll at NSH. There is a sign that shows "Tambat" or something sounds like dat...you can drive to that booth to top up. Or you can go to the PLUS office to top up.

 

Certain petrol kiosk in MY offers this service too....but watch out cos they have a daily credit limit...once they goes over the limit, they will not be able to offer this service. Service charge of 50 sens is applicable when topping up at the petrol kiosk.

OK thanks for the info. Seems same like last time also can only top-up in SG tru Maybank.

 

I dont want to open a Maybank account just so I can top-up this card. Looks like I wil stick with paying cash at the toll booth for the time being.

I bought it at JB Customs Checkpoint. After immigration clearance, park your car by the side and go to Booth No 10 (if I remember correctly). Advisable for you to top up the value there and then.

if u go through woodlands checkpoint, when in jb checkpoint, always go to the last counter of every row (i.e. lane 10,20,30,40) to buy the card straight at the touch N go counter. you can find the teller next to the officer counter. hope it helps!
