Kb27 Supersonic May 21, 2011 Share May 21, 2011 (edited) Don't know how true, 1 of my teacher friend said that every year ranking, 5% of the staff must get "D". A "D" means no bonus and if too many times, will get sack. If 100 staff, 5% means every year 5 teachers must get "D" regardless if everyone is on par with everyone. That's really inflexible! My ex-company does the same. They believe there's always 5% non-performers no matter what. So 5% of the staff will be damned no matter how good they are. It's up to the managers to fight for it and who should be the sacrificial lambs. Unfortunately, I had to do it to one of my few engineers. If a company has a few hundred staffs, it's not as difficult. If a company is already running very lean with say 20 staffs...5% is a lot of "bad" people you have to find. Sec 1 Discovery Camp, Swimming and TKD 3. Sec 2 Adventure Camp, Swimming 4. Sec 3 Canoeing course 5.
