Nice! Hoped it comes to Singapore in the 1.6Turbo.....

Might tempt me to trade in my missus Vellfire....

No need 180hp.240Nm 1.6 Turbo lah.

140hp.200Nm 1.4 Turbo will do.

120hp.200Nm 1.4 Turbo may be a bit slow and unfortuntely available in 6MT only.

Tested Peugeot 3008, chevy orlando, c4 grand pic n this. All stable n 3008 n zafira felt faster than their spec century sprint. Orlando 1.8 na too under designed for its 1.6ton body. 3008 gear shift smoothest whether auto or tiptronic. Zafira loses out on gear shift in tiptronic, only slight better than chevy Orlando, whose gearbox at auto can chg 2nd gear at crawlin speed suddenly n give u jerk forward effect. C4 grand Picasso tiptronic worse, can feel disengage, then engage, takin a full second fr gear 1 to 2. Generally I still prefer my no lag tiptronic on my cpt, even though it's a cvt gearbox. Shifting of gears should be instantaneous so we can know immediately how to control veh.

Generally they felt robust n quite stable as u would expect fr conti (my cpt really cmi here haha).

Sound system I feel Orlando clearest without lacking punch w reasonable sound stage even on stock sound system. Zafira if tuned too punchy will lose clarify n it's sound stage very obvious fr leg up. C4 n 3008 decent at best.

Zafira has most compartments, 3008 has clever boot storage config system, the rest quite STD.

Built-wise, zafira best, 3008 has burr on car door panel edge n sharp point at rear end of car door windscreen base. All have one pc car doors, unlike welded car door window frame on some jap cars.

Pick up fastest should be 3008.

Nicest looking would be zafira, subjective though.

Most no-frill is Orlando, even have only one airbag for basic model. Other things I found Orlando n zafira shares certain parts like batt cover, antenna.

Omv all about mid 20k.

Last, when I thot of low omv, hi Coe n hi profit margin, n these cars without xenon or hid headlights, I can't bear to part w $ even more.

well done! [thumbsup]

Thanks.

Anyway, since I moved to Germany, I change from working with climate controls to Navigation & radio system. I am now working more on Fiat projects, some VW, & some others. I expect to be in Italy & Portugal for some business trips in near future. Hope to see if their girls are as good looking as my friend claimed. hehe

How do you say, 'you are beautiful' in Italian.

But so far the projects I have these days quite relaxing for me, Fiat these days, like VW, like to recycle parts for their cars, so you get similar designs or same part from the part bins for a range of cars.

Just copy paste features, blend it with new design surface, touch up here & there. hehe. Life is good for me, no complain as far as job is concern. [:p]

Any owner to the 1.4turbo Zafira around.

Wanna seek user opinion on full load performance and air con performance in sg hot weather.

Thanks in advance

Just collected my zafira.

White with sunroof.

Quite a nice car to drive but still running in thus did not rev.

Family members feel that it's spacious and have a conti feel, quiet, tall seats, rear air con on the pillars, plenty of storage.

Lots of gadgets. Lane departure warning, anti collision , blind spot warning and the rest like parking assist .

Main complain , can feel the gear change and third row only for kids.

Otherwise feel it's a good car.

its like a all around sensor, sometimes can be distracting. Feel the anti collision and the blind spot warning system quite useful. The blind spot warning system - when a car comes within the back sensor, the yellow lights on the wing mirror will light up and if you still change lane, it will come with a beeping sound. Good especially if you are those who are easily distracted when driving.

unit came with the panoramic sun roof but normal 17" rims.

happy with the ride so far.

bought mine about a couple of months ago.

came with 3 yrs free servicing and 5 yrs warranty( unlimited mileage), managed to bargain to throw in the reverse camera with GPS and sun film as well.

not sure about price now but the SE was saying 150+ after discounts.

Nice, did you go change the lights to white color ones? Wonder if can replace the DRL with LED bulbs instead.
