Hi guys, tyres for both front and rear @ 230 on local roads. For long distance up north 240-245.

Thanks. After my first servicing, noticed that tyres pressure are higher than 230, maybe by default the workshop use 245?

Will be going for my 1st 1k servicing this weekend. So far so good as a new car , I did not push the engine hard. The build, both interior and external, are definitely better than my previous Zafira 1.8MTA. It has more safety feature in-build. Only thing, it is wider so need to get used when parking (reverse or parallel).

I am considering getting a 2010 or newer Zafira. I noticed the ones in sgcarmart are the 1.8 variant. 

 

Almost no one is selling 2012 or newer. I'm assuming that's a good thing i.e. they love their Zafiras.

Pre 2011 :

Drove a 1.4t Tourer in the UK for extended miles over a long weekend recently. It's an impressive Mpv to drive. Manual transmission but auto should be nice to drive too. Ride refined yet handles well. Power great in city speeds, so so on motorways, fuel economy only average for a modern turbo, build quality and materials euro mass market standard, no better. Was a fan of Opels. Pity about euro car makers adoption of planned obsolescence otherwise I would be keen to have one in Sg.

On the outside, the front end gets newly styled headlamps, bumper and grille abandoning the boomerang accents and bringing it more in line with the latest Astra and Corsa, while the rest of the body appears to remain unchanged. 

 

Inside, the 2017 Zafira gets a new dashboard with a more modern layout that includes a redesigned instrument panel and center console that incorporates a larger infotainment screen with less buttons.

However engine seems to be the older 200nm 1.4T, whereas the new one in Astra is 245nm
