I don't mind that they concentrate. But look at MND

1xMinister

2XMOS

1XSenior PS

Only the Minister is full time. The rest part time.

Why need so many people?

think MOS & senior PS r all full time...only MPs without cabinet portfolios r part-timers..so this makes it worse isnt it?lol

As long as the same people remain, the same problems persist (unless they correct their policies).

Correcting their policies is probably not going to happen (unless something really bad happens to their salaries).

I have never called foreigners "foreign talent". They are foreigners, that's it. Other countries don't call their immigrants "foreign talent" but leave it to their citizens to come up with whatever names they like.

We cannot remove foreigners overnight? Did they not take a plane and fly here in a few hours?

This GE, we had about 2 million Singaporean voters (age 21 and above). Considering the younger Singaporeans, maybe we have 2.1 million or slightly more Singaporeans.

However, the plan is for 6 million people in Singapore. If anyone can see the ratio, anyone will worry.

Let's petition Mr Lui TY to scrap off 3 quarter tank ruling.

Not impressed with Yeo Cheow Tong and Raymond Lim's policies in the last 10 years. Let's see what Lui can do.

When KBW was Health Minister, he forced all the hospitals to reveal charges & initiated some reforms.

So now MND chief, will he "encourage" HDB to reveal the building costs & formulate better housing policies?

Whatever it is, I do not really wana hear the phrases "heavily-subsidised", "affordable housing" or "asset enhancement" from his mouth henceforth...

He did explain and is reported in the straits time on how the $8 come about ( Very long ago). All is fully paid by medical insurance and he pay $8 is because he go buy for medicine (that's what I could remember). I believe he was tryng to prove at that point of time is it is important to have medicial insurance to cover for unexpected expenes that may occur one day and better to buy early than later regret why never buy medical insurance when need it. So in a way not too bad la.

I believe HDB under him will see very much better manage in pricing than MBT. So let's wait what and see what he would come out with, which I believe will be much better for Singaporeas as a whole.

talk about asset enhancement, i think they themselves got themselves cornered... they sell the asset enhancement so much during the ge, those who fall for it were the group voted mbt in and now he no longer in charge, if $8 chap "scrap" this idea or their ass doesn't enhance as much as the fallen shorty did, he wont get the vote next round but if they did enhance the flat price, then those who voted the opps will have every reason to vote oops again next round.... good luck to $8 man... see how he clean this mess.... Change soup dont change ingredients

there is still a long way to go...

they can change a lot of pple to a lot of diff positions...

but is that what we want?

by changing some of the MPs, may appease the pple for a while, but if policies dont change or improve, still makes no difference...

i think pple want to see kinder policies...more humane touch of reaching out to the citizens....

So still yet to see this coming.....

for me am happy that RL is going, almost every year MRT and bus fares go up but service levels has dropped, and he cannot address the issues. no spine.
