Supercharged

actually this issue have been started since 2009. mine was the 2009 series. need to wait for nearly 4 months to get the car. bro, advise for you when take the car check every area and some blind spot also. might either have a small dent or small scratches. if some ppl feel is ok then no worries. mine was a visable scratch mark at the side mirror. upon check tell them on the spot they state that if u want take if not need to wait for a couple of months. so is just the matter of the driver willing to wait.

I believe for your case, it's your SE fault.

Still remember I accompany my brother to test drive the Kia Forte in mid May 2009.

Met a nice SE and signed on the spot. He got his car in end June 2009 which

was around 6 weeks waiting time.

In my opinion, it cannot be just SE's preference / fault! AD would have some way of distributing the cars (probably the price you pay for would be the key)!!

It took me abt 5 mths (Cannot remember liao) wait till neck long long and best within this period my ex car broke down twice and cost me abit here & there which can be avoided if the schedule of delivery is accurate. I got my COE abt 1 week after my booking and even changed the colour as I need the new car before the old one go Kaput again. Whahaha

If you got the bid on COE with KIA, you can change the model within KIA's model, but if you intend to switch to other make, you will need to paid up the full COE and maybe with some administration fee before they are able to release the COE to you.

Not sure if its true, heard that COE can be requested for extension after 6 mths by them with reason.

C&C is biggest car distributor in SG right? Don’t they know how the game is being played or maybe the effect only came in after they have been acquired over?

Or SG is a small Mrkt the pie ratio may not be in favor to us but if customer's booking is accepted delivery should honored within acceptable period, if there is no stock, why committ?

Or the SG branch does not build repo well enough with the principle in Korea?

Other issue internal or external we may know well and such I shall not comment too much.

I like the model KIA and that is the reason why I give in to accommodate but I am not in favor to C&C's services standard. I also took the chancel and even forgo the 5 year warranty with them which have a T&C valid your warranty with C&C servicing only. HAHAHA.

At a start if their services is like that, wonder if there is a problem will they also reply that your part is on the way but not sure when how? Hahahahaha

For new Buyer or Shopper, since COE is already so high. Take your time to shop. You can help yourself by ensuring you play your part to assist and the rest will be up to the SE;

1) Check up the Car Review, Price, Distributor's Service & Workshop Standard before you commit yourself in buying a car (Also check the after services & parts package fee, some car buy small but work shop service are BIG and not sure where the cost goes).

2) Upon booking, ensure the physical model & colour you want is in SG Land and not in Shipment list.

3) Take down the spec and ask them in detail what is equipped in the car

4) Bank Load is the fastest, prepare your necessary paper work and if there is a trade in, bring along your car document too.

5) COE Bidding happen twice a month and your normal booking will be 3 or 6 bid (about 3 month) and COE registration will takes about 3 working day Reg your car.

6) Other Paper work (Insurance/ Road Tax/ Ownership/ Inspection and in Car Installation work will take about 5 working days, fast 3 working days.

(Try not to rush them in giving them 2 day, scare they will do a shitty job & forget this and that, which happen to mine which I guess my SE rush the process, hahahaha).

Dam this is long… Sorry folk.
