This one no API certified

 

 

Look carefully, it does say API SM (pointed out in the green arrow).

Although I can't understand the language it's written in and can't tell if it means the oil is rated API SM or equivalent to that standard, I don't think an oil manufactured for a major car brand like Lexus would fail to meet such ratings.

I just bought this cheap $35 "made in UAE" Lexus oil for my Toyota from stockist. Still observing the ride. So far can't feel any difference from other engine oils I've used. Neither does it drive like Lexus.  [grin]
