Jeff49er Clutched May 13, 2011 Share May 13, 2011 To me, as long as one gets the lubricants from the branded one u cant go wrong. Lexus lubricant is actually provided by Alton Oil. They also supply to others under OEM.

Tigershark1976 Turbocharged June 12, 2011 Share June 12, 2011 saw it quite some time back... The bottle looks similiar to the "old 10W30" Toyota mineral oil. The stocklist told me that they are replacing the old Toyota mineral oil with this Lexus Fully Synthetic Oil.

Meanmachine Supercharged June 16, 2011 Share June 16, 2011 bros, If you're talking abut Lexus's cars; IS, GS, RX etc they are using Caltrex Synthetic oil for servicing unless stated otherwise. ( yr choice ) Would recommend AD's preferred motor oil till warranty period expires, one may use your discretion for other oils. If your lexus car is more than 3half years young, go for thinner oil 10-30, any thicker would cost more, conclusion: That's bery competitive. Stick to 10-40 for economy and performance, smart for your pocket too. JUz my 2ct
