no worries, I knew bcos KM salesman keep asking me dad to change... but in the end, it honestly felt more or less like a polished up Avante..

 

Any idea why the GDI engine was not brought in?

 

What i think would be it is not suitable for our Country? Or Fuel grade issue?

GDI not interesting la...

 

They have a 2.0 TC engine sold in the US producing 274 bhp... Thats more interesting IMHO... [:p]

But i read from reports &forums that their TC engine got problems one leh...

Agreed no cvt for me after my this ride. 2005 honda city. Gearbox abit of problem now n then...

OT a bit....so this issue with CVT, is it why there r so many latio's in the used car market now? (becos owners want to get rid of the car b4 problem arises with CVT?)

Not all of them are CVTs though! Latios got Auto also!

The reason for the GDI not brought in most probably is the cost factor, which would make the car price higher due, the other being the fuel quality issue.
