Who have the latest price list so that we can compare apple to apple?

I think both is about 90K.

90K for Elantra comes with 6 air bags and sun roof, dual zone climate control air con, driver electric seat, factory fitted reverse camera, cruise control

Test drive and choose the one u feel u give the better driving experience. Features wise are good in both cars...

but interesting...u mention electric seats and dual zone climate control....I do not seem to remember Elantra has then in the Elite/SR specs....:)

I'm not sure about Fluence but I tested the Elantra this pm.

The pick up & handle feel good for me.

But there are 3 things that put me off.

1st is the seat belt for rear center pessenger. Like those is old fashion taxi. very no standard leh.

2nd is the very small rear side windows. The SA explained to me that it's design that way to reduce wind noise but I really don't like the feeling of confinement with a limited view outside.

3rd is the driver's arm rest. looks very cheapo.

elantra has electric seats and climate control.. but i don't think it's dual zone?

and of course, the sun-roof and cruise control. but of course all this at a higher cost. :)

fluence if i remember correctly is 93k while elantra elite spec is at 99k. but according to other bros, elantra has a 8k discount, making it 91k..

not sure if the discount is still available.

go test drive and take the brochure, it's much better to get a feel in real life than something on the net. plus their showroom is back to back. :)

there's no point going for great styling if the car annoys you greatly (exception: Alfa Romeos). Remember those phones you bought coz it looks nice but ends up being rubbish actually?

Saw the fluence today. not much flair in the design, but it certainly looks massive for its class.

haha yes totally agree. just like how i got a blackberry even though the os is rubbish if you compare to iphone4. ): ugh, regret.

fluence is massive for a 1.6, one of the biggest for it's price. :)

plus it's relatively unique, not that common.

lol..I chose Fluence over Elantra, though when I bought the car, there is no Elantra to test drive. Personally I find the interior too much for me taste..:)

later I test drive the car as a friend was interested. Still find Fluence give me a better drive....:)

btw..my friend also strike out the Elantra bcos of the interior...:)

Still have not test drive both cars yet. But based on design, i still dont like the interior of the elantra, looks quite ugly. [rolleyes] Although the exterior for elantra is nice. [;)]

Understand that Fluence is 6 gear CVT, where as Elantra is 6 Auto. THis point is very important for few of us. OMV is more or less same. But, maintenace cost would be more for Fluence. My 2 cents!
