One of my grand uncle died and I learnt his own family abandoned him in his dying breath and the government buried him somewhere.

Who can we call to check? Which governmental agency? Had been having dreams about him....

Can try checking up with NEA since they are the ones in charge of burial and when it comes to exhumation, they have all the nok information.

However, I'm not sure whether they'll release such info to you. May need your granduncle's nric no.

Sorry if I sound insensitive; no offence meant, I mean well.

My religious traditional beliefs are that if one has dreams about deceased relatives, it could mean their spiritual beings are in need in their afterlife, and they approach loved ones in their dreams to seek help.

The actions taken in my community are usually to make a donation to the needy of food, clothing and money with the merits and blessing wished towards the departed, so that they may received these blessings and find solace in the afterlife.

You may wish to try this to appease your grand uncle's spirits. In any case, the needy would benefit, and that's always a good thing. And you would attain good karma in the process.
