Hmmm...interesting question. To send in any weak or unpopular candidates will get a resounding beating especially if WP does well next 5 years. So a credible team has to be assembled and send to battle. Of course there's 1 and only 1 option, if LHL is to silence the anti-PAPs, critics once and for all, and prove he's got what it takes, be a master strategist, is to he himself lead the charge! And I think he won't lose, not 2016 GE anyway. But if Oppos continue to improve and make further inroads in 2016, then 2021 GE, any GRC/SMC he'll be in danger of being toppled.

unlikely... I think he will want to strength the base in Aljunied first, then use this to launch the conquest on Marine Parade, Tampines, East Coast surrounding GRC/SMC
