I heard from some source that the government has awarded to a contractor to implement GPS ERP. It seems that testing was done in India, not in Singapore and just after the GE Is this sneaky or what?

Satelite road tax. the more u drive the more u pay. probably can see ur speed.

ERP 2 (LTA termed it as) was awarded to a GLC (Government Linked Coy) coy....it is not GPS based but based on wireless technology without gantry....

if a vistor or tourist ask us , how driving in singapore.....

 

i would say " driving in sg is worst than living in hell, goverment are bring in all kind of technology in to touture us."

hmm... if satellite can detect car means must be something installed into the car as sensor. Remove it then cannot detect means no charge?

Wah, like that hor, driving culture will definitely change a lot

- Forgot to take something and need to go back to take has a new level of frustration

- Can't find parking and need to circle around to look for parking.

- People will park nearest to the exit instead of nearest to the most convenient place.

- Chut pattern to cover the GPS reception.
