Ya I believe there are 2 camps in PAP, else how come every time dun see GCT together with PM in conference?

Spread the risk mah, just like some companies require staff to be on different flights as travel policy. [:p]

I'm not surprised with these rumours.

One of them goes that TPL was put in MP to check on GCT. Looking at it, why did't LHL put TPL in AMK under his memtorship?

GCT is only a Senior Minister, why not put her in TP under LKY so that our Minister's Mentor can guide her?

Or in other "risker" GRCs like Tampines or Bishan?

The biggest power struggle this GE was not the one in the polling stations, but within the MIW party hierarchy. To secure power in the event of MM's demise, SM's position as party elder in the post MM MIWs has to be weaken, staged "events" has set.

TPL's candidacy have left voters wondering about the selection process, but the purpose of the candidacy is to lower SM's vote count.

PM is rather pleased with himself for secure a the highest vote count in a GRC.

If you notice the positioning of the news report in today Straits Times

SM's low vote count is discussed on the left.

PM's high vote count is discussed on the right.

Singaporeans remember the days when SM was PM in the 90s, life in Singapore was good.

An elaborate campaign has to be waged to tell how SM is growing unpopular.

true, one of the strategies though is infiltration. u never know. i still hope there are good guys there but they need time.

also, there could be guys who join for big money, then later cannot bear to see evil. change their minds but quietly swallow cos of money. all sorts of possibilities.

in these days, hard to find those really in for passion to serve the people and country and not for fame and fortune.

WP and other alternative parties are taking the right step.

If they don't contest and build up their capabilities to the public, the survivor of Singapore will be more at stake when p8p fails. There'll be no other people who is able to take over at such a short time.

If we are so fear of freak results, might as well don't have any elections.

Past history have shown about weak rulers being installed and finally ending the era of their dynasty.

In Qing China, empress Cixi installed a kid (Pu Yi) as the emperor while meddling behind. After her death, see what happens to the Qing Dynasty?

We should learn from history and not repeat the same mistakes.

i don't think most of PAP major in humanities.

clown price is still ok(he still have some support from his court officials), but if his son is going to be in to carry on the dynasty....

very sorry then, an 'uprising' is inevitable, not just from the opps camp, even from those within their camp.

Tis is weird. If PM keeps the hardliners, does that make him a hardliner too?

If tat is the case, who exactly is pushing for the pap to soften their stance? Could it be one of them is the departed GY?

You realized how he has changed from the beginning? Remember how he was like when he first became PM?

Remember good cop, bad cop....
