Icedbs Turbocharged May 5, 2011 Share May 5, 2011 (edited) Ironically, exactly 5 years ago on 5th May 2006, WP also had a rally in Serangoon Stadium. The pledge was lead by LTK. Also very loud. But they lost. May the best team win this time Edited May 5, 2011 by Icedbs

May the best team win this time I am from Holland Bt Timah GRC but yet I took 1.5hr MRT and bus ride to hear WP talk. Like most of the bros here, I felt like a true singaporean once more...There were many many many people, even one lane of the road was used for car parking, leaving only 2 lanes drivable..the police also lan lan.. Yes there were FTs but they were there to take fotos..

He estimated ~10-20k supporters unable to enter stadium. Anyone knows the capacity of this vanue? (seating area + the field)

Babyckh 5th Gear May 6, 2011 Share May 6, 2011 i got 1 qn about lower housing pricing policy... if really did so,do your think alot and banks will kana jiak lak from previous price they buying and holding when new low price launch affect the entire market? will it be influence by sentimental view?i remembered when housing control implemented, alot properties counters kana even not direct impact.. is this a solution or ? i not sure just came to my mind IMHO, it's a chicken and egg situation now. If the prices of existing flats are going down tremendously, the banks will start call up the owners to top up the differences. However, if the price remains the same or going up, the new owners will have problem owning one. But, who started all this?? Even MBT is voted out (I hope so), the next fella who takes over will be like; obama took over george bush's mess.
Kiario 5th Gear May 6, 2011 Share May 6, 2011 okay, now the new FAS chief knows how to increase crowds to 30-40k for sleague matches, have a new S-league team next year based in Serangoon Stadium call Aljunied United, the club badge is a hammer, the honorary chairman is low thia khiang. but first of all, must vote wp to win in aljunied this saturday. workers party all the way................... All the chattering inside the bus was such a distant familiarity I was accustomed to when I was younger. Yes you are right. I took the train to serangoon station and I was shocked that it was chocker block with sgporeans. It was a great feeling, cos mostly on the trains I will hear small groups speaking in an unfamiliar dialect and I feel very alienated, IN MY OWN COUNTRY. What the hell is happening to our country? And if we don't change a thing tomorrow, u can rest assured by the next election our voices will be drowned cos we will be outnumbered. Maybe in 2016 , the stadium will be filled with 20000 FTs and I will get that alienated feeling even in the stadium.
