Whooper Neutral Newbie June 22, 2011 Share June 22, 2011 Hi Bros, need some experts advice on Bilstein Sports Suspension.... I bought a merc that came with Bilstein Sports but found that the ride is kinda stiff and hard, not the comfy drive. Is it really because of Bilstein Sports that the ride become stiffer? Will it make a big difference if I revert to the Stock suspensions?

Suspension is consider part of handling, my 2 cents point of view.. Dont risk the safety. ianest 1st Gear November 30, 2017 Share November 30, 2017 Same here. Looking for Comfort Ride Specialist. Wld appreciate if you have any to recommend. Just bought a used 2011 Murano. Send in Tan Chong for 119 point inspection. Came back with good condition except for loose tenioner belt. No leaks in engine or shocks. Rubber mounts looks new. The tester fm Tan Chong tt did road test with me says it feels normal... :( Probably we didn’t have ample test as the usual test route road behind the landed property area was quite smooth. No major potholes. I’ve driven Jap and Conti cars. This Murano is back breaking. It has no problem with big humps but small humps or potholes, it feels like your butt is hitting the floor direct with no cushion effect. The car doesnt bounce when release after pressed down. Supposedly no issue with shocks. Was told the suspension springs rarely fail. I too do not want to go to any workshops to change parts that doesn’t improve results. Any bros with suggestions or recommendations? Thanks in advance for your advice. :)
ianest 1st Gear November 30, 2017 Share November 30, 2017 (edited) Same here. Looking for Comfort Ride Specialist. Wld appreciate if you have any to recommend. .... :) Just to add, my tires 235/65R18. Pressure at 30psi instead of the 33psi recommendation specs. Still doesn’t help with the harsh ride. Also, to improve ride comfort, any after mkt shocks to recommend? Was advice if change shocks, keep stock springs as after mkt springs not as good. Any comments?
