Halal fuel for car?

Was reading the ST this morning when I come across the biodiesel section, one of the driver commented he gave up pumping biodiesel as he cannot confirm the cooking oil from the biodiesel comes from halal restaurant or not.

 

I was like , even my muslim colleague slam this driver as not understanding the islam religion enough.

no offence...but even bags or shoes with pig skin lining they will not use...i initally tot just cannot consume but...

A lot of people do not understand about Islam . They do not know the 'actual' meaning of Halal . Find out from MUIS website , so you can understand more .

Halal means Permissible - Haram means Forbidden , should refer to Wikipedia ( as a reference ) .

There are loads of muslims out there without in-depth understanding of the religion, which only serves to make life difficult for themselves and ridiculing the religion at the same time

Halal house, halal HDB, halal car..... Petroleum might not be halal. Who knows what animals contributed to the formation of the petroleum, and how they contributed. The same applies to cement, rocks and sand.

hahaha... ciggy halal anot i dont know... but if animals must halal, then how come seafood no need halal?.... think i read before something about animals with hooves... some ancient law during the roman catholic times... my Malay friends dont eat pork say cannot... but can drink like there's no tomolo... so many got certain rule can break certain rule cannot?...

1) HDB built by chinese who eat porks.....so HDB Halal or not?

2) NeWater contain urine of many who ate pork and alcohol.....so the tap water Halal or not?

3) Body intestine ferment the food, and produces alcohol.....so own body Halal or not?

 

I suppose he will not use alcohol swip to clean the skin before injection?

Also cannot use most anticeptic soap, as it contains alcohol content?
