I think they didn't factor in that our government is the highest paid in this galaxy

How could we rank so low when ministers are drawing million

And also we might not get to use our $$ (in CPF) becoz of money is not our money....still have to wait for SERVANTS to decide for us

I think the only time commoners feel rich is when traveling to places with lower standard of living.

Right now, even the ah tiongs have bigger spending power than us. When I was in HK, bringing my wife to that SPACE :Prada outlet. I was reminding my wife not to exceed my budget. I notice some of the ah Tiong (from their accent) have budget way above mine. Even from dressing can tell we are from a poorer (as in less spending power), coz me in running shoes, jeans and my cheapo jacket with my company logo. They are in their branded clothing...

i'm always puzzled as to why ppl use branded clothing to judge their self worth?

err.. low self esteem...in singapore not so bad...but in some countries...the shop assistants will judge u according to the clothes u wear
