At was about 5.40pm. There were five/six cars involved, minutes before I passed by Lornie Road/Upper Thomson Road viaduct where it took place. A traffic jam started to form behind me after I drove through. Let us hope no casualty(ies) involved. Slight drizzle and the road was wet.

(edited)

I happened to be about ten minutes later today than usual, and it happened just minutes before I arrived. Weather conducive for a nap.

I suppose after travelling within 70km/h along Adam Road and Lornie Road, the much widened road promotes a relaxed feeling. Many/more motorists pick up speed here to go up both the viaducts ahead. I am puzzled why major traffic made to flyover minor traffic when designing the roads (more accidents expected).

road widened to have one more lane each side but the lane width is a tad too narrow. it is worse there because there are curves and we all know sinkie drivers cannot follow in their own lane esp when taking curves and corners.

The highest record i saw was 13 cars chain collision along AYE twds Jurong direction near to the Y-junction where CTE and ECP merge.

Like MRT train like that and it was during lunch time. But this happened last Dec Xmas eve, and there were no one injured from what i saw.

Good observation. I am puzzled that most drivers can park within 2.4M width parking lot. But display discomfort driving straight along 3.0M width lane. Likewise along 4.0M lane that is not straight.

I wonder if the motor insurance industry would give them any award for the feat?
