dsman 5th Gear October 15, 2017 Share October 15, 2017 Bumping an old post as I have the same question!! Hi. I had to scrap my xc90 when the gearbox needed to be replaced. So that's something you definitely have to bear in mind. Also, the lower arm bushing tends to wear out pretty fast

Thanks bro. What's the usual FC you can get? I'm looking at one with a few years coe left, then renew. So 2008-2010 model. Looking at XC90 cos the hit I take on others like Q7, X5 are too big... Otherwise, I am highly likely to renew my current Jap mpv which has a few more months of coe

Glad your old car gave you the signal not to renew! What car did u ended up with? 300+ is not great but heavy SUV so kind of expected. My odyssey gives me 350-380 on a full tank. I will need to view the cond first. But thanks for the advice, appreciate it!

Yeah the new cars are crazy, xc90 easily 280k. Even the new odyssey is 150k. If I renew coe it's 50k and a new 10 years. Not really a heavy car user, so can't justify the big spending. ;)
