Fuelsaver Supercharged April 10, 2011 Share April 10, 2011 (edited) anybody encountered this? was ok w 98, managing 11.5 - 13km/l. after pumped v-pwr fuel due to promo of price same as 98, next few tanks returned much poorer FC, say around 10.+km/l. checked no leak anywhere, tire press ok, alignment ok, drivin pattern n routes similar nature, no extra load. anyone encountered this b4? if can't normalize, does reset ECU helps n how to reset? TIA. Edited April 10, 2011 by Fuelsaver ↡ Advertisement

ER-3682 Twincharged April 10, 2011 Share April 10, 2011 Yupz, 98 will return better FC than 95. 98 Fuel Saver also return better than V-power.
Aeromania 1st Gear April 10, 2011 Share April 10, 2011 v power will give poorer FC than Fuelsave 98. That's why they didn't call v power "Fuelsave V-Power" or whatsoever. Objective of V power is to give more torque and engine response than 98 and 95, not better FC.

For my car negligible feel lah

5936 1st Gear April 10, 2011 Share April 10, 2011 I tried 95 for the whole month of March, and I got poor FC. Switched back to 98 this month, and sleepy engine was awoken.
Cephas 3rd Gear April 10, 2011 Share April 10, 2011 (edited) lower octane will give you lesser pick up power, that is why you will tend to depress more when you want to achieve the same power pull of the engine when higher RON petrol can give you on the previous pump. To achieve good mileage on lower RON petrol is to control your right foot & expect less power achievement. Edited April 10, 2011 by Cephas
