Tayspiderx 3rd Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Ya 1.6 impreza will dampen the driving, best get a test drive yrself. Imo, if want Subaru, y not consider Legacy 2.0R from resale Else, can try out Korean makes KIA clearing their ex-stock for new models, should hav good bargain there. Hyundai Elantra is flavor of the month but delivery time can be quite long.
Heng51 2nd Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Depends on your objective, if you want a AWD with control and stability. Impreza is pretty decent on its handling. But like what many bros say, it does lack the horses... Own one since 2010
Colin03 4th Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Hi, can advise what model is Kia clearing now , any indicative pricing ? Thank you inadvance.
Kiadaw 6th Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Very funny, People here act as if Subaru have been winning design awards for their car models. Its a subaru, if it looks good (subjective of course), then its a bonus, otherwise, it just what it always has been, its the same with a new Toyota or Nissan. Tayspiderx 3rd Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Hi, can advise what model is Kia clearing now , any indicative pricing ? Thank you inadvance. Saw Forte got quite substantial discount last week. New Forte should be due this 4Q or early next year
Json Neutral Newbie June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Would it be worth getting a Forte? Top up $10k or so, you get a Japanese model that is much more durable. At least you know you can save on your future maintenance cost and the resale value will be higher.
Tayspiderx 3rd Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 Durable or not . At least Kia is covered for five years compared to Subaru three. Subaru resale value also worse due to low market demand. Other than been a value for money jap made entry level n a proven awd system there's not much to fancy abt this impreza, imo

Proton_neutron 1st Gear July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 Yup. this new Impreza sedan/ XV crossover is a huge improvement over the predecessor. It's said that the XV will be replacing the Forester. Dunno how true this is though. Quality is improved, and so is the design. You get soft touch plastics now on the upper dash as well as doors. The rear seats can take 4 in comfort, with legroom and headroom to spare too. It simply feels like a smaller Legacy =)
Akula Turbocharged July 21, 2012 Share July 21, 2012 Understand that this car comes in CVT.... How is it? Whilst not against this type of transmission, Would prefer a traditional 5/6 spd auto instead.... Perhaps that's why the fuel consumption is good? ↡ Advertisement
