Hamburger Hypersonic June 19, 2013 Share June 19, 2013 Sorry for finding an old thread but tmr I'm gng to change my pads Braking got vibration, i think skim is 30 per pc I ask my stockist tdy brand new is 115 per pc Wonder what's best for me ?? Any opinions tks If its the first time skimming on a jap or kimchi rotor, its a go. And refrain from car wash immediately after a long drive, sudden contraction of rotors may cause warp in rotor. ↡ Advertisement

Kelbin Neutral Newbie September 2, 2013 Share September 2, 2013 I went for my front disc rotors skimming 2 pieces and the workshop quoted me less than $6x exclude GST. They will remove the rotors and skim and downtime about 2 hrs After skimming I can feel the difference after braking in high speed. Previously my steering wheel was wobbling when brake in high speed. The workshop is in the west area (bukit merah). If you want can PM me I can give you the address.

After running a while, there is no more sound. This happens only when the car is not driven for a few hours. I have asked WS. Some said its rotor not even and some said its bake pad not suitable? Do you guys have similiar experience?
