60 cent/km = $2.40/4km - which is more than the price of 1 liter of gasoline. Your car FC worse than 4km/L?

of course mileage claim must be worth more than actual cost of petrol... it's nothing to do with the FC.

When the company gets free use of an employee's personal car for company purposes - the wear, tear and servicing costs is borne by the employee.. so it's only right the company pay more than just the cost of petrol to compensate. After all, cars in Singapore are very expensive, and last 10years only..

exactly, even if my company 70 cents/km, it's still cheaper than taxi travel same distance, company doesn't lose any. [thumbsup]

Even mileage claim is 70 cents, company still earn eh?! Looks like using personal car for business not really worth it, since most company only gives 60 cents! [:|]

My company only give 40 cents for mileage claim. Nobody from HR want to review in this area..

I guess it is better to take taxi & claim the receipt.

Agreed take taxi better where can relax. If kanna traffic jam FC suffer in which 40 cents/km really lugi a lot.

IIRC, about 20 years ago, my mileage claim is 65 cents, in a different company now today, it is still 65 cents.
