Iridrium 1st Gear April 4, 2011 Share April 4, 2011 Used to be THE hang out place for students studying nearby (Monfort, Holy Innocent, Marie Stella, Serangoon Secondary etc.) in the 90s. We must remember that was pre-hougang mall, Nex time. Shopping centres are far and few in between. I remember going there for a $5 haircut at Red Pather and going up to level 5 to buy computer games then a visit to 2nd/3rd to watch other people playing nintendo outside the video game stall. When hungry, the restaurant in the basement served great western food!

Vtim 3rd Gear April 4, 2011 Share April 4, 2011 Its a Sunday and most of the shops are closed. Even the 4D outlet is no longer there. Most of the shop space are vacant and waiting to be rented out. This must be one of the most pathetic shopping centre in Spore. but whenever primary school starts in Jan every year, one of the shops there will be very busy because they supply school uniforms

Ken4555 1st Gear April 4, 2011 Share April 4, 2011 (edited) Definitely. Outlived its usefulness, not that it was ever that useful. Nearly closed down a few times but keeps coming back. It is just an eyesore and more people does not want it to be around. Maybe one day it will really go away. Pathetic place which no ones bother with but exists for the sake of existing. Most people would be happy if it finally goes away but I guess we'll just have to wait for it to happen. i used to play billard and bei key machines upstairs at Upper Serangoon shopping Center... also cut my hair at Red or Pink Panther... school days... hahaha....
