bro, if this incident is a nightmare to you, you might be better off discarding your ride now..... no car will last forever without a single problem.......

Is yours the 110hp Campro engine or the 125hp CPS version?

Its the 110HP version. Crappy 1.6L.... But then.... can swap in something else.... Good handling and able to convert to 4wd. Thats why I bought the car. For future mods.

This is the cons in buying a 2nd hand car, no matter which make/model. Which is why, after you have purchase the 2nd hand car, best is to send the car for full servicing, change all the oil etc and have the car checked, if can, change the tyre, do alignment and balancing as well. Cause you never know whether the previous owner got regularly svc the car properly. [:)] Even the previous owner got maintain the car regularly, but to play safe i still strongly recommend to do a full servicing.

Supercharged

yeah, same here bro.

i was looking for a neo too.

too bad, sg don't bring in the cps version but this car is pretty nasty.

if you were to spend around few k on it, you could actually tuned it to a 165bhp for a NA engine.

best part of all, maintainability is cheap.

seriously.. you ought to go malaysia for all the repair and reworks.

so tell me, how much you get your neo?

Oh yes, I read about the Mit 4G series engine. The MIVEC 4G92 I think. Direct drop in and monster NA power!!

However, I am after something more powerful..... How about 4G63T instead with 4WD conversion.....yum yum....

I got no problems with Proton so far after changing from Continental dan Jap cars

So far so good. I am not worried about mechanical reliability with Proton cars. I read good things about them. What really worries me is the electronics. They are as fragile as BMWs....lol......

Unless the car is much cheaper than the rest, I will not get a Proton. At least a CS3 for me.
