Turboguy 5th Gear March 28, 2011 Share March 28, 2011 wrx is a affordable performance car, with that kind of HP and Nm. but... the insurance and tax are overwhelming. so, if the wrx driver is really the registered owner of his car, not his parents etc, i think he is pretty awesome. like me, lmao. proud owner of a 3gwrx, FTW!! Astonmartin Neutral Newbie March 28, 2011 Share March 28, 2011 It's NOT what you drive, it's HOW you drive.. . I drive a WRX when I perform my TP (EPU)(VSC) duties on expressways. I have booked drivers for speeding, reckless and dangerous driving. I have also seen many accident cases during my tour of duties. PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. Razer_Blaze 2nd Gear March 28, 2011 Share March 28, 2011 There are two type of cars : Slow car - Design for low speed, prone to lost control at high speed, cannot drive too fast. Vice versa : Fast car - Design for high speed, prone to lost control at low speed, cannot drive too slow. Fast car - Design for high speed, at low speed will cause driver to lose control; Control over their emotions.

Mrlau Clutched March 29, 2011 Share March 29, 2011 (edited) Fast car - Design for high speed, at low speed will cause driver to lose control; Control over their emotions. These are pure physic, you can learn all these from F1. The fast car is installed with Big Brake kit. BBK need to warm up to work properly, to keep the BBK warm, the car cannot travel at low speed. So when the driver saw the jaywalker or cyclist, they want to brake and realised the brake power is only 20%, they have to bang bus stop to siam jaywalker or cyclist. Fast car usually come with big spoiler, if the car is travel too slow, the spoiler will not create enough down force to hold the car on the road. Tyres is another reason why fast car cannot drive too slow, because the tyres also need to keep warm to have optimum grip. If the car is too slow, the tyre will too cold and tendency to lost control is very high. http://www.sportscomet.com/NASCAR/7093.htm Its the CAR!!! CAR!!! NOT THE DRIVER!!!!!! Architect Neutral Newbie March 29, 2011 Share March 29, 2011 from my experience, what you say is too good to be true. they dare to challenge but most of them gets pissed up eventually, im referring to the losers. on the other hand, if u are the one driving 335 or the faster car, do you like to be frequently challenged? for safety reasons. whether friendly or hot-hard-racing. its not so much about petrol not looking down on anyone or any car make. i just thought people should know where they stand on the road, specifically what tool (car) they are driving. mouse vs cheetah is just making a laughing stock out of yourself. dont justify it by saying its friendly or some spirit of challenging or sportsmanship. (above part on knowing where they stand, not comparing wealth again, hope no one misunderstands again) If David can beat Goliath, I don't see what's wrong with a friendly challenge if both parties are up for it. If you don't seek challenges from someone/something that is better, how does one improve? It will forever be stagnant. Many variables are involved lah. As a wise man once said. "Everyone can drive a fast car. But not everyone can drive a car fast!" It all boils down to the driver. Without a master, a tool is merely a useless item. ↡ Advertisement
