Sorry man..... I just cannot take latio. To me, it's a ah pek car, with weird design.....

well, the sports version doesn't look as bad.

but guys some friend of mine say latio no power.. so if u drive the car for about 5 year it will be worst? somemore only auto... =.=

 

 

in sg context, my latio chiat most car at ~120km/h when most people drive like 90km/h even with a 3L engine... so, what power u need?... [laugh]

There is a reason why latio so ugly yet got so many on the road, not everyone needs a pretty car.

 

Practical car is more appealing than pretty car to most who spend their hard earned money for a BnB transport.

yep, u r right....if i ever choose latio, it'll be for its FC, reliability etc rather than its looks.

but to me, the altis, avante, forte, etc also not really tat beautiful...it's a "fashion" thing, juz like clothes n handbags....wat is fashionable then might not be fashionable now

ya a lot of ppl tink driving a forte or mazda3 etc rather than a latio makes them more stylo milo...

so now i have to end up with one can lance GLX 2007 (below 30k) or latio 2007 (below 40k) which should i go for?

 

 

the latio will be a better car then the lancer glx. only thing lancer can win is on looks.

 

for me,

civic > sylphy > latio > sunny > altis > madza3 > lancer

 

actually the latio is a class smaller as compared to civic/slyphy/altis/sunny/madza3/lancer, not many people know about this fact ...

Hi, I got my first car, a latio sports last sep. If u want comfort, Latio is the right choice! Big space, and silent driving.

 

If u wan looks, go for latio sports instead of a sedan.

 

But i think FC wise, vios will be better.

 

But till now, my latio ( 4 years old ) is still serving me real well. and i am enjoy every min of my drive. =)

 

Honda city i think it is as ugly as latio sedan. and not as spacious as latio

 

Vote goes to latio (sports only) for me.

why lancer is the last one? and flame the first 6 car u put is all quite ex no range is below 30k sia lol.. i think i can only go for lancer =(

I think ppl r using diff factors to make comparisons.

 

Ppl who r ah pek type, want silent drive and space, will like latio.

 

Honda is for ppl who wants a bit of noisy drive with sweet pick up and driving experience. There is a reason why Honda cars are never quiet and has stiffer suspensions (not that Honda cannot achieve silent ah pek engines). It's a differentiation factor that Honda wants to maintain.

 

Vios is for those on budget, who go for value for money. Cheap, fresh and tua lap mentality.

 

So it's not fair to say one model is better than others. It is who you are and what you want to feel when u r driving.

imho, civic altis sylphy ex mz3 is one class above i.e. 1.6 & above.. in fact lancer shld be here if not for emergence of EX

city vios latio lancer (dropped down after EX came out) tend to compete in a lower league..

 

i hv driven none of these current car though i hv driven a 1994 lancer glxi

 

latio known for space and good comfort (reasonable FC but not the reason why pple get a latio)

city known for 16 to 17 km per litre FC

vios fastest pick up from 0 - 100km/h and cheaper cousin of corolla
