I just collected my alphard. Height is recorded officially as 1.89 metres.

Is there a list of Singapore car parks that states their respective height limit?

Or rather which are the car parks I got to watch out for? Those that are 1.85m and below..

Can anyone help? Don't want to bang into the ceiling and get stuck..waha..

i think most cover carpark will have height limited list at the entrance of the carpark..

Lake View Apartment in upper Thomson, for guest carpark is around 1.6m height only

Raffles Hospital is 1.8m

Try searching Eurovan Club for a long list of carparks taller vehicles should beware of.

That aside, get used to the height of your vehicle, know exactly how tall it is and learn to judge the height barriers. In my experience driving a Cabstar lorry, some of the carparks were labelled as 2.00m but looking at the barrier I suspect it is actually lower than that and I know the vehicle cannot enter - on the other hand I have come across a few 1.8m which looked higher than stated and decided to take a chance, and thereafter entered and parked without problem [laugh] You won't have much trouble once you are used to your vehicle and know exactly how much clearance you need.

It is common for sheltered carpark to display the vertical clear height. Due to different wheelbases among vehicles, some may not clear the height limit with the borderline height displayed. Do take care of this when going downhill into basement carpark and entering upper storey carpark uphill. Do also take care of this when exiting downhill from upper storey carpark and uphill from basement carpark. They can have different height for egress...

Thanks for the advice pal.

A little bit nervous now going into car parks with the little bus..

Other than this obvious drawback, my family love the alphard with it's space and ride.
