KARTer 2nd Gear March 19, 2011 Share March 19, 2011 If you like DIY, this setup cost less than S$300... excluding the wheel and pedals, and also the monitor... The foldable platform where the real (but used) racing seat sits is optional (included in the cost though)
Winningeleven 4th Gear March 19, 2011 Share March 19, 2011 I think playseat is one of the best u can get in Singapore, plus the latest G27 logitec steering wheel , it should cost less than $1400, i feel the shop at vivo is selling quite expensive http://www.gameshome.com.sg/index.php?main...facturers_id=48 I also like to know where can get the cheapest lowest price for playseat in Singapore. Reuters Clutched March 19, 2011 Share March 19, 2011 u can try one of the shops on 5th floor in funan centre for playseat.. but the price is around there if u want something similar to those.. unless u want to customize like what one of the bros did as shown above.. Carmaniac Neutral Newbie March 19, 2011 Share March 19, 2011 (edited) Yup you can try the shops in funan, particularly The Software Boutique (they have a website at http://pachome1.pacific.net.sg/~tsb/). It has the Logitech G27 and some racing seat (not sure about the brand though as I was just looking for the G27) on display so you might wanna get a feel of the setup. Sadly I didnt get to try the setup in a game as the console was switched off and the sales guy didnt seem very enthu about letting me get a feel of the g27. I have no knowledge on the seats but as for the racing wheels, if you've a tighter budget you might want to try the logitech driving force gt or logitech momo force feedback. But these will only come with the sequential and paddle shifters. I feel its quite pointless to get a racing seat but an average wheel without the H-shifter... I think it would be a good idea to DIY a racing seat like KARTer mentioned and then spend on a better wheel like the G27 or the Fanatec Porsche wheels. Cheers EDIT: Btw it seems like the last time i checked (around 2 weeks ago), most shops in funan (other than the software boutique bundling it with a seat) have run out of stock for the g27. Even Tec-Drome in sim lim square has run out of stock at the time i checked. Just FYI. Edited March 19, 2011 by Carmaniac

Snowblind Neutral Newbie March 20, 2011 Share March 20, 2011 Been thinking of making my own setup due to lack of space and funds. Go thru the forums in gtplanet......got alot of folks build their own setup. You might get some ideas from there. If I manage to get hold of a car seat, I might just try to build one. Icedbs Turbocharged March 20, 2011 Share March 20, 2011 (edited) If you are not particular about the seat, I think this solution make a lot of sense. Especially if you have space constraint http://www.wheelstandpro.com/order.html Edited March 20, 2011 by Icedbs

F1f2 Clutched March 21, 2011 Share March 21, 2011 finally someone make this thread. what i hear the wheel is very accurate and responding. I just afraid after i try in shop and find out the wheel not as good as i imagine. if not buy later the shop feel angry. So where is the best place to buy it with good customer service? Also, is someone ever repair their steering wheel?
Mockngbrd Supersonic March 21, 2011 Share March 21, 2011 i'm using the Logitech driving force GT (cheaper den the G27 but no clutch/stick shift) , but yes it is very good. As for the stand, i think locally u can only get the Obutto but it comes with a seat. u can ask if anyone on the local GT forums is selling their APIGA which is what i'm using. http://forums.gameaxis.com/forumdisplay.php?f=271 The peeps there did a group buy for it. I use an old Alfa Romeo seat mounted onto my Apiga ↡ Advertisement
