It's a way of life common in many large cities, but we have not gotten used to it yet. I guess it's because most of the car-owners today, grew up in the days when the population in SG was only 3 million.

I take public transport sometimes too. It really is more convenient, for certain locations. Or maybe it's because i live right beside an MRT station lol.

I'm not impressed. You know what I feel about the man, backside itchy. Pay for road tax but not using the road. Used up the space needed for those who are not driving.

But then, it's his rights and it's not wrong either.

Well, just not something that I'll do.

Turbocharged

When I change jobs I will also be in "have car but take public transport category"

Not worth it for me to drive to CBD, pay season parking, face jams when got door to door MRT

Especially during rush hour timings - rather pass car to wifey who does not have so convenient public transport (as if she no car my time is restricted anyway)

I don't understand how come some pple cannot drive to work, due to expensive ERP and parking but still buy a normal plate car and park at the carpark everyday? [confused] My carpark here also have one normal plate car which park at the carpark without using at all?! [hur] I think the only time the owner use his car is to shift from this lot to another lot within the carpark!

parking is uber expensive but most importantly carpark at my building is full... and if i had to park further away just to drive... then what is the difference in taking public transport?

opc car la. he don wan to pay for day use. look at how early he send his kids to school

Yup that really makes me think whether it's practical for families with kids to be without cars.

Not saying that it cannot be done but personally would be difficult for me.
