Rubberstamp Neutral Newbie March 11, 2011 Share March 11, 2011 I am looking at a 2nd hand car that is 4 years old. However it is 90k km already. Assuming that it is car that is in an average condition. Not excellent and not poor. Is there anything that i should be worried about? Does performace drop alot after 90k km? Does parts start to fail after 90k km? ↡ Advertisement

Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear March 11, 2011 Share March 11, 2011 Unless its a below average brand/model, the mileage not more serious concern than some accident damage(s).
Pisces69 6th Gear March 11, 2011 Share March 11, 2011 Yes from dealer. I see on sgcarmart that its from Exotic Dealer. Have become skeptical after reading so many bad experiences with dealers from other people Take the car fr a through test drive then u wil know if the engine/car is smooth or not. 90k km fr it sud not b a prob but u wil need to change the normal wear n tear parts. Check timing belt/chain,brake pads n rotors n tires. Other stuff like filters n fluids sud not cost too much n just change according to handbook. Also check fr accident damage n rust. Interior n seats for abuse or badly maintained.
Pisces69 6th Gear March 11, 2011 Share March 11, 2011 Ok. Any bros here got comments on a car that has already done 90k km? 90K km for a good n well maintained car is nothing. Last time my 19 year old COE Corona CD auto was sold at 400K km n it was still running very smooth without any problems at all. ↡ Advertisement
